I am tired of aiding in my kids school. It’s been 6 years and I am sick of it. But my younger one is in Kinder. I at least have 5 more years to go. So annoying.

Dear User, I can understand how you feel about aiding in your kids' school for the past 6 years. It can be exhausting and tiring to volunteer your time and energy, especially when it seems like there is no end in sight. It's okay to feel frustrated and annoyed about the situation, and it's important to acknowledge these feelings rather than pushing them away. From a Buddhist perspective, it's essential to recognize that suffering arises from attachment and craving. While it's natural to want to provide the best for your children, it's also important to find a balance and not attach oneself too much to a specific outcome. It's essential to focus on the present moment and find joy in the act of giving without expecting anything in return. From a psychological perspective, it's essential to take care of yourself and prioritize your needs. It's okay to say no and set boundaries instead of constantly trying to please others. It's essential to find other ways to give back that align with your interests and passions rather than feeling obligated to do something you don't enjoy. As a coach, I suggest taking some time to reflect on why you started volunteering in the first place and what you hope to gain from it. It's also essential to communicate your feelings and needs with your children and their school. Maybe there are other ways you can support them that aren't as time-consuming or draining. It's also essential to find activities and hobbies that bring you joy and fulfillment outside of your role as a parent and volunteer.
