Why should I continue to do programming?

Dear User, I understand that you may be feeling uncertain about continuing with programming. It can be challenging to maintain motivation and direction when faced with obstacles or uncertainty about the future. From a Buddhist perspective, it is important to cultivate a sense of purpose and fulfillment in our work, as it can be a source of meaning and contribution to the world. However, we must also recognize that our work is impermanent and ultimately does not define us. It is merely a means to an end, and we must find balance in our lives by cultivating other sources of joy and fulfillment outside of work. From a psychological perspective, it can be helpful to reflect on what drew you to programming in the first place. What aspects of it do you enjoy? What skills do you want to develop? What are your long-term goals and how does programming fit into that vision? It can also be helpful to seek out support and guidance from mentors or peers in the field, as well as to continue learning and growing through courses or personal projects. As a coach, my advice would be to take some time to reflect on what you truly want and need in your career and life. What values are important to you? What kind of work environment do you thrive in? What are your strengths and weaknesses? Use this self-reflection to guide your decision-making around programming, whether it means continuing on this path or exploring other opportunities. Remember to also prioritize self-care and balance in your life, and to seek out support when needed.
