Dear User, it sounds like you are feeling overwhelmed and exhausted from taking on a lot of responsibilities for your university student newspaper. It is understandable to feel burnt out and questioning if you should continue with this level of commitment. It can be challenging to balance the expectations of others while also taking care of yourself. From a Buddhist perspective, it is essential to practice self-compassion and recognize that it is okay to prioritize your well-being. It is not selfish to take a step back and re-evaluate your involvement in the newspaper. From a psychological perspective, it is essential to consider the impact that this level of stress and anxiety can have on your mental health. It may be helpful to take a break and reflect on what is causing you to feel overwhelmed. Are there specific tasks that you can delegate to others to reduce your workload? Can you set boundaries and communicate your needs to the other members of the newspaper team? It may also be beneficial to seek support from a trusted friend, mentor, or therapist to process your emotions and gain clarity on your next steps. In terms of coaching advice, it may be helpful to prioritize self-care and establish boundaries to manage your workload. You can start by scheduling time for relaxation, exercise, or engaging in activities that bring you joy. It is also essential to communicate with your team members and delegate tasks when possible. If you are feeling unsure about your involvement, you can take a step back and evaluate your priorities. It is okay to make changes and adjust your commitments based on what feels sustainable for you. Remember to practice self-compassion and trust your intuition.
