I'm an entrepreneur. My business did not take off, and I owed debt. I am still passionate about what I am doing; however, it seems this business model does not work very well. I have thought about applying for a job to pay my bills, and I did send the application. But it seems there is no feedback from the job market. So I am struggling with the current financial situation, and I am starting to doubt about capability to run a business. I always think I am a smart person in learning knowledge, and I have the confidence to do a good business, but reality put me think twice. What should I do now? Stop running the business, or find a job?

Dear entrepreneur, I can understand how difficult and challenging it must be for you to deal with the financial burden of a business that did not work out. It takes a lot of courage and hard work to start and run a business, and it is natural to feel disappointed and overwhelmed when things do not go as planned. It is also common to doubt your abilities and question your decisions in such situations, but it is essential to remember that setbacks are a part of life, and they offer opportunities for growth and learning. From a Buddhist perspective, it is crucial to accept the reality of the current situation without judgment or resistance. Accepting things as they are can help you to develop a sense of equanimity and inner peace, which can be helpful in making clear and rational decisions. It is also essential to let go of attachment to outcomes and expectations, as they often lead to disappointment and suffering. Instead, focus on the present moment, and take small steps towards your goals. From a psychological perspective, it is essential to acknowledge and process the emotions that come with the experience of failure and disappointment. Talk to someone you trust or seek professional help if needed. It can be helpful to reframe the situation and see it as an opportunity to learn and grow. Failure is not a reflection of your worth or intelligence, but rather an opportunity to gain valuable experience and knowledge. In terms of specific coaching advice, it may be helpful to explore other options and opportunities while keeping your passion and skills in mind. Consider getting a part-time job to supplement your income while you work on your business. You can also consider pivoting your business model or seeking mentorship or guidance from someone who has experience in your field. It may also be helpful to create a detailed plan with specific goals and timelines to help you stay focused and motivated. Remember, this is just a temporary setback, and with perseverance, resilience, and a growth mindset, you can overcome it and achieve your goals.
