I've been having mama wrist since my child was born. Last week a friend brought her husband and kids to visit me. As this friend doesn't look after her own kids and one of her kids got into danger, I saved him by holding him and move him to a safe place. As a result I damaged my mama wrist badly, despite my efforts of trying to heal it over a year. I cannot forgive this friend for indirectly breaking my wrist. I tried to tell this friend it's dangerous to leave her kids unattended, however she just replied that children in general are playful.

Dear User, I can understand how frustrating and painful it must be for you to have developed mama wrist since the birth of your child. It seems like you have been trying your best to heal and take care of yourself, but unfortunately, a recent incident with your friend's children has aggravated your injury even further. It's natural to feel upset and resentful towards your friend for indirectly causing you harm. From a Buddhist perspective, it's important to remember that forgiveness is not about condoning or forgetting the actions of others, but rather about freeing ourselves from the burden of anger and resentment. Holding onto negative emotions can only prolong our suffering and hinder our own spiritual growth. By forgiving your friend, you are not absolving her of responsibility, but rather choosing to release the negative emotions that are hurting you. From a psychological perspective, it's understandable that you feel angry and frustrated with your friend. It's important to acknowledge and validate these feelings. However, holding onto resentment can lead to increased stress and tension, which may further delay your healing process. It might be helpful to explore ways to express your emotions in a healthy and constructive manner, such as through journaling or talking to a trusted friend or therapist. By processing and acknowledging your feelings, you can begin to find a sense of closure and move towards healing. In terms of coaching advice, I would recommend focusing on your own well-being and healing. It's crucial to prioritize self-care and take the necessary steps to recover from your mama wrist. This may involve seeking medical advice, exploring different treatment options, and giving yourself ample rest and relaxation. Additionally, it might be beneficial to have an open and honest conversation with your friend about the incident, expressing how it has affected you and discussing ways to prevent similar situations in the future. Remember, your healing and well-being should be your top priority.
