I've been having mama wrist since my child was born. Last week a friend brought her husband and kids to visit me. As this friend doesn't look after her own kids and one of her kids got into danger, I saved him by holding him and move him to a safe place. As a result I damaged my mama wrist badly, despite my efforts of trying to heal it over a year. I cannot forgive this friend for indirectly breaking my wrist.

Dear User, I want to acknowledge the pain and frustration you must be feeling due to your mama wrist and the incident with your friend. It sounds like your wrist has been causing you significant discomfort for quite some time, and this recent incident has only aggravated the injury further. It is understandable that you are feeling angry and unable to forgive your friend for the indirect role she played in worsening your condition. From a Buddhist perspective, it is important to recognize that holding onto anger and resentment towards your friend will only cause you more suffering. The first step towards finding peace is to cultivate compassion, both for yourself and for your friend. Understand that your friend's actions may have been unintentional, and she may not have been aware of the consequences it would have on your wrist. It is through compassion and forgiveness that we can release the negative emotions that bind us. From a psychological standpoint, it is natural to feel angry and frustrated when someone's actions lead to further harm or exacerbate an existing injury. However, it is also essential to recognize that holding onto these negative emotions will only hinder your own healing process. By directing your focus towards healing and self-care, you can take the necessary steps to regain your strength and mobility. It may be helpful to consult with a healthcare professional or a specialist who can provide you with guidance on the best course of treatment for your mama wrist. As a coach, I would advise you to prioritize your own well-being and healing. This includes seeking medical attention if necessary, following any prescribed treatments or therapies, and allowing yourself the time and space to recover fully. It is also important to address your feelings towards your friend. Consider having an open and honest conversation with her, expressing how her actions have affected you and seeking understanding. This communication can pave the way for forgiveness and potentially strengthen your friendship. Remember, healing takes time and patience. Be kind to yourself throughout this process. Practice self-compassion and engage in activities that bring you joy and relaxation. Surround yourself with a supportive network of friends and loved ones who can provide the emotional support you need. Through self-care, forgiveness, and understanding, you can find healing and move forward towards a place of peace and well-being.
