Dear User, It sounds like you are going through a tough time right now, and I want you to know that it is completely normal to feel overwhelmed when starting a new job, especially in a field that you may not have much experience in. It is understandable that you may feel like you are missing out on other things, like traveling, but it is important to remember that life is a journey with many different paths. You have chosen this path for a reason, and it is okay to take some time to figure out if it's the right one for you. From a Buddhist perspective, it can be helpful to remember that everything in life is impermanent and constantly changing. This job may not be your forever career, but it is an opportunity to learn and grow in a new environment. It is also important to practice mindfulness and be present in the moment, rather than focusing on what could have been or what may happen in the future. From a psychological perspective, it may be helpful to explore why you are feeling this way. Are you struggling with the transition from college to the workforce? Are there certain aspects of the job that you are finding difficult? It may also be helpful to reach out to a mentor or supervisor for guidance and support. As for whether or not you should quit, that is ultimately a decision that only you can make. However, I encourage you to give it some time and try to identify what specifically is causing you to feel this way. It may also be helpful to set some goals for yourself, both personal and professional, to help give you a sense of direction and purpose. Remember to be kind to yourself during this time of transition and know that it is okay to ask for help.
