i always wanted to be a police officer in canada, i tried a lot of ways and experienced a lot to be one, for example, getting master's degree here, going to volunteer and working at different workplaces to gain experiences. However, i am still not hired by any agency, i felt unfair, and that my value has been underestimated. I am worried that i will just keep doing my current job for my whole life, it is a good job with decent pay, but still not what i wanted, and i have to work far away from home, away from wife and kid.

Dear User, I can understand how frustrating and disappointing it can be to work hard towards a goal and not achieve it. It sounds like you have put in a lot of effort and dedication towards becoming a police officer in Canada, and it is understandable that you feel undervalued and overlooked in your efforts. It is also understandable that you feel worried about the future and the possibility of never achieving your dream job. From a Buddhist perspective, it is important to remember that everything is impermanent and constantly changing. While it may be difficult to accept, it is possible that your dream job may not be meant for you in this lifetime. However, this does not mean that your efforts were wasted or that you are not valued. It is important to focus on the present moment and find contentment in the work that you are currently doing. From a psychological perspective, it may be helpful to re-evaluate your goals and consider if there are other career paths that align with your interests and values. It may also be valuable to seek feedback from those who have experience in the field and see where you may be able to improve your qualifications. Additionally, it may be beneficial to seek support from a counselor or career coach to help navigate these uncertain times and find a sense of direction. In terms of coaching advice, it may be helpful to take some time to reflect on your values and priorities. What is most important to you in life? Is it possible to find fulfillment and purpose in your current job or in a different career path? It may also be helpful to set realistic goals and create an action plan to achieve them. This can include seeking out new experiences and networking opportunities, as well as continuous learning and development. Remember to be kind to yourself and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small they may be.
