The Buddha is responding... Please take a deep breath and wait.

As a pre-med student who have over 8 years down the line in school, I have a lot decisions to make and stuff to plan with, where I would be going, or when should I plan to have family and kids, it all feel so hard to plan it out and make it also a mutual decision for my partner. Career and personal life are hard to see them together

Dear pre-med student, I can understand that you are going through a tough time juggling so many decisions and plans. It's completely normal to feel overwhelmed when you have so much on your plate. It can be challenging to balance your career aspirations and your personal life while keeping your partner's preferences in mind. You may feel like everything is uncertain and that you don't know where to start. However, it's important to remember that you are not alone in this journey, and there are ways to navigate through it.

From a Buddhist perspective, it's essential to focus on the present moment and not get overwhelmed by the past or future. By practicing mindfulness and being fully present in the current moment, you can reduce stress and anxiety. It's also important to remember that everything is impermanent, and things will change. Thus, it's essential to remain flexible and adaptable to whatever comes your way.

From a psychological perspective, it's vital to seek support from your loved ones, friends, or even a therapist. Having a supportive network can help you manage your stress and provide you with guidance and advice. You can also break down your plans into smaller, manageable steps, which can make it easier to approach them.

As for coaching advice, I suggest that you take some time to reflect on your priorities and values. What matters most to you? What are your long-term goals? Once you have clarity on these, you can start working towards them step by step. It's also essential to communicate openly with your partner and listen to their perspective. Together, you can find ways to support each other's goals and aspirations.
